  13. I upgraded the serial port in my PC to one with a 16550 UART chip. Now
  14. I can run my 14.4 modem with out all the data over runs. However, in
  15. the middle of a file download, my PC will tell me that my modem
  16. connection is lost, though it is not. I am running Netmanage's
  17. Internet Chameleon.

  19. Does this mean that there might be something wrong with the card. Or
  20. perhaps my 486SX 33 cannot handle the extra speed within Windows? I
  21. have NO problems downloading stuff using a DOS terminal emulator.
